Dr. Sandip Banerjee is a multi-award winning surgeon, trainer, futurist, innovator and entrepreneur. He is a senior Laparoscopic Coloproctologist & Bariatric Surgeon with around 15 years of experience in the field of Surgery.

He qualified from prestigious BJ Medical College, Pune. He obtained his post-graduation in General Surgery from National Board of examinations (DNB General Surgery). His main clinical interest is Colon and Bowel related diseases and the modern management of haemorrhoids and fistula. He performs advanced Diode LASER surgery for primary and recurrent ano-rectal diseases like piles, fissure, fistula, pilonidal sinus etc. He got trained in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery from world class doctors Dr. Joel Leroy (France) and Dr. A Melany (Brazil) and AIIMS Delhi. With an interest in Gastro Intestinal cancer surgery, Dr Sandip completed two years fellowship in GI oncology under the leadership of Dr Adarsh Chaudhary from premier MEDANTA hospital Gurgaon. He also completed fellowship in Bariatric Surgery after this.

He has founded the first ever conceptualized dedicated centre named PELVINIC THE PELVIC FLOOR to treat pelvic region disorders through minimally invasive techniques. He has particular specialist experience in complex abdominal wall hernias and a general surgical practice including laparoscopic hernia and gallstone surgery, anti-reflux surgery. This has led to the development and recognition of a centre of excellence for Proctology & Laparoscopy.

He received multiple awards for his exemplary contribution in healthcare. He has been awarded as INDIA’S BEST DOCTORS AWARD for the best laparoscopic surgeon in Delhi and Achievers Award by All India Achievers Association for best bariatric surgeon (category). He became Life member and prestigious Fellow of Association of Colorectal Surgeons of India (ACRSI). The personal humble approach helped him to strengthen a rewarding and lasting relationship among his patients, and also making him unique and popular among the colorectal surgeons.

His mission is to make the surgical treatment affordable and accessible to everyone using the power of connectivity to allow equitable surgical care. He is a kind of surgeon who has often placed himself in situations of danger so that he could help patients. He embodies the values of dedication, courage and heartfelt humanitarianism that define him.

He is currently working as a Head Laparoscopic and Colorectal Surgeon in Apollo Spectra, Kailash Colony New Delhi, and also associated with Rainbow Hospital, Fortis Hospital, National Heart Institute, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital Sarita Vihar and several other prime South Delhi Hospitals as a senior visiting consultant. His previous assignments were with MAX Smart Saket, Fortis Gurgaon, and Medanta Gurgaon. Dr. Sandip is also credited with the performance of more than 5000 anal surgeries. She is very well versed with advanced Gynaecological surgeries like Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, Laparoscopic Uterine Prolapse surgeries, Laparoscopic Vaginoplasty and other pelvic surgeries. Dr. Meenakshi is also an expert in Minimal Invasive uteroscopic techniques called Hysteroscopy and Colposcopy. She has trained numerous young aspirants in Hysteroscopy techniques and is a firm believer of the fact that if one knows good hysteroscopy techniques then numerous uterus removal surgeries can be prevented. Based on her dedication and skill set, she was awarded with Fellowship in Minimal Invasive Surgery (FMAS) from Association of Minimal Invasive Surgeons of India (AMASI). With so many years of experience in Laparoscopic Gynaecological surgery, Dr Meenakshi has participated as speaker in AICC RCOG. She is also the select Member of Advisory Board in Johnson & Johnson division of Female healthcare for Post Pregnancy Perineal repair techniques. Her passion for excellence and compassion translate her care into high-quality care

Dr Meenakshi co-founded Pelvinic along with Dr Sandip Banerjee. PELVINIC THE PELVIC FLOOR first ever conceptualized dedicated centre to treat pelvic region disorders through minimally invasive techniques. She is at present working in Rainbow Hospital, New Delhi as a Senior Consultant, in the dept. of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Her previous assignments were with MAX hospital Saket, Batra hospital New Delhi. She is credited with performance of more than 4000 Gynaecological surgeries. Dr Meenakshi Banerjee received her M.B.B.S from prestigious B.J.Medical College, Pune. She obtained her post-graduation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from T N Nair Medical College, Mumbai, one of the premier medical educational institutes in India.

She got the training in Basic Laparoscopic skills from Mumbai for a period of 3 years. Apart from that she received her training in advanced Laparoscopic management of Gynaecological problems in New Delhi. Dr Meenakshi has performed several live Laparoscopic Gynaecological surgeries in various conferences and has also chaired a few.
